Advisor Service Representative
What is your role in AE Wealth?
I am a part of the Phone Team. I take advisor’s calls and help them with anything they need and answer all their questions.
How long have you been with AE Wealth Management?
I started as a temp in May of 2017. My official one year is August 7th
What’s your favorite aspect of your job?
I am constantly learning something new. In answering advisor questions I also sometimes learn in the process. I also have the opportunity to study and take securities license exams. I like to be in an environment where I can grow and learn about the industry that I am in.
If you could travel anywhere in the world – where would you go and why?
I would go to New Zealand. They have such different biodiversity than we do. Their exotic wildlife and beautiful landscapes would be amazing to experience.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be and why?
I would learn how to be a curator for museums and conservation centers. To have that level of knowledge about certain subjects and objects is very impressive to me.
What was your first job? Did anything from that prepare you for what you do today?
My first job was a front desk clerk at a dry cleaner’s. It was my first customer service job which is what I do today, only over the phone instead of face to face.
Funny fact about yourself?
I love animals and often animals are attracted to me. My husband calls me the Animal Whisperer because wherever we go the animals usually love me, even if they are considered “shy”.
What’s the word on the street?
Gab has been a huge asset to the company from day one! Starting as a temp she immediately adopted the culture and work ethic we strive for in the ever growing environment in wealth. She has since moved on to work flow coordinator, processing specialist, and now advisor service representative in just one year! Her drive to learn the business and connect with our advisors is what sets her apart.
